Edmonton, AB<\/strong>: It\u2019s been a few weeks since one of Edmonton\u2019s most beloved annual events came to a close, but the excitement of K-Days isn\u2019t over quite yet. During the 2019 festival, which ran from July 19 \u2013 28, K-Days invited attendees to fill out a survey asking about the festival, their highlights, and what they\u2019d like to see in future festivals.<\/p>\n During the festival, thousands of attendees filled out the survey which gave them an opportunity to win $10,000. This week, one of those attendees will be awarded a giant cheque for $10,000 by Northlands CEO Peter Male.<\/p>\n Please join us for the cheque presentation this Thursday, September 19.<\/strong> The 20-year-old Edmonton woman who won the $10,000 is very excited. She\u2019s planning to use the money to take her family on a trip. She\u2019s a fan of the midway (her favourite ride is the Zipper) and will be starting training with Chrysalis Centre for Adults with Disabilities in the fall. Come witness the cheque hand-off this Thursday!<\/p>\n There is much to go through in a survey of this size, but here are some quick highlights:<\/p>\n Over 700,000 guests attended K-Days 2019, which featured the newly introduced Mini Makers Faire, increased cultural programs, a traveling Toy exhibit and expanded agricultural programs, including cow cuddling and several small livestock shows.
