SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN TOUR kicks off the Rexall Place entertainment lineup
EDMONTON, AB— Northlands and CISN Country 103.9 are proud to bring you country superstar Tim McGraw and his SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN 2014 TOUR live to Rexall Place on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 during Edmonton’s largest summer festival – K-Days.
“We’re thrilled to add Tim McGraw to the already stacked lineup of entertainment inside Rexall Place during K-Days,” says Sharilee Fossum, Acting President and CEO, Northlands. “With WWE Live, Blake Shelton and now Tim McGraw at Rexall Place, the entire Northlands campus is alive as Edmonton’s destination for entertainment from July 18-27.”
The new set strives to bring McGraw closer to fans than ever before with innovative production, staging and video content that’s highlighted with never-before-seen footage. The iconic entertainer will deliver hits spanning his career as well as new songs from the upcoming SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN album due out September 16 on Big Machine Records.
“After doing this for 20 years, the challenge is always to find new ways to top what you did the last tour,” said McGraw. “This summer is all about getting as close to the fans as possible and creating that connection with them, so we can really get to know each other and feed off that energy. Fans this summer are going to get to hear some new songs off the new album too, which is cool because I’ll get that immediate feedback that only a live crowd can provide.”
McGraw’s new single, “Meanwhile Back At Mama’s” (featuring Faith Hill) is creating a groundswell with fans and radio.
