EDMONTON, AB – Hungry? From deep-fried favourites to food trucks and fancier fare, the K-Days 2014 food lineup features 36 brand new tantalizing treats including Scorpion Pizza, Pulled Pork Sundaes and Bacon Wrapped Corn. Bring your appetite for adventure and eat your way through this year’s K-Days from July 18-27.

Does Scorpion and Meal Worm Pizza sound mouthwatering to you? Take a walk on the wild side and dig into some of K-Days’ more outrageous fair food options. This year, the midway hosts dining options not for the faint of heart including the Maple Bacon Breakfast Corndog, Turkey Dinner Poutine and the Giant Ice Cream Cone. Need to satisfy your sweet tooth? Try out the Deep Fried Cookie Dough, S’mores Mini Donuts and Red Velvet Donuts with Cream Cheese Glazing.

Everything is bigger at K-Days, including Juicys Outlaw Grill – the ‘world’s largest grill’. But what good is the world’s largest grill without the World’s Largest Commercially Available Hamburger and the World’s Largest Commercially Available Hotdog to fry on it? Weighing in at over 777 lbs, the World’s Largest Commercially Available Hamburger has officially set a record in the Guinness Book of World Records. Tipping the scale at 125 lbs, the World’s Largest Commercially Available Hotdog is not for the faint of heart. Gather your family, friends and neighbors because both are available for your consumption with 48 hours notice to Juicys Outlaw Grill!

Looking for fancy and fresh fare? A Taste of Canada is back to take fairgoers on a culinary road-trip from the East Coast to West Coast with regional menu items including the West Coast Po’ Boy, Barbeque Ribs and Classic Clam Chowder. Prepared by Northlands’ culinary experts, the Taste of Canada menu features locally sourced and produced ingredients.

Is your stomach still growling? Four of Edmonton’s finest food trucks are making a pit stop at this year’s K-Days. Paradise Grill, Street Eats, Big City Sandwich and Lemongrass Grill will be rolling into the K-Days North Grounds to feed hungry fairgoers from July 19-20 and July 26-27.
