K-Days 2014 a huge success!
EDMONTON, AB – Northlands brought 10 days of music, rides, food and shopping to our city from July 18-27. Rain or shine, Edmonton embraced its largest summer festival as more than 740,840 festival-goers made K-Days their summer entertainment destination of 2014.
“This year, we invited Edmontonians to make K-Days their summer destination,” said Sharilee Fossum, Acting President and CEO, Northlands. “With the best in programming and entertainment, families and friends found a place to make fond memories and unforgettable experiences.”
K-Days thrill-seekers enjoyed 47 exciting rides, 36 new and outrageous fair foods, 10 eclectic Koodonation Stage headliners and the 522,000 square foot Edmonton EXPO Centre filled with indoor programming. Koodonation Stage acts Village People, Our Lady Peace, USS and more rocked the crowds. With Tim McGraw playing Rexall Place and Marianas Trench taking the Koodonation Stage on July 22, K-Days produced the highest mid-week attendance in 40 years!
Northlands is dedicated to giving back to local charity and community organizations. Through our work at K-Days, dozens of charities and community organizations were supported with an investment of over $330,000.
