EDMONTON, AB – K-Days has placed in three categories of the Communications Awards at the 124th annual International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 10, 2014. K-Days 2014 was awarded first place in Web Advertisement, second place in Overall Social Media Campaign and third place in TV.

“We are proud of the work that our Northlands staff do to make K-Days Edmonton’s favourite summer fair,” says Tim Reid, President & CEO, Northlands. “From grounds crew to administrative staff, we believe our staff is at the heart of the experiences we deliver and are pleased to see them recognized for their efforts.”

There are a total of 21 award categories for the Communications Awards, each divided by attendance into five divisions, that a Fair or Expo can enter. The entries are evaluated and judged by a team of industry leaders. These individuals are selected from the membership of International Association of Fairs and Expositions, which has over 1,200 members from around the globe. The purpose of this competition is to improve the advertising and publicity programs of fairs and to provide recognition for those fairs doing an outstanding job.
