EDMONTON, AB – Northlands has assembled a panel of industry partners to review the Responses to the Request for Expression of Interest (RFEOI) in response to the Vision 2020 concept.

Of the 27 packages requested from Northlands through the RFEOI Northlands has received 13 responses from various organizations looking to help shape the face the future of northeast Edmonton’s residential and commercial districts.

“Since the launch of Vision 2020 in February, we’ve had tremendous feedback,” said Tim Reid, President & CEO, Northlands. “The interest from the development community is evident in the number of RFEOI responses we have received to date. I am optimistic that any number of these groups will come forward with presentations that will not only embrace the spirit of what Northlands hopes to achieve but will show how redevelopment in northeast Edmonton will bring prosperity to not just this quadrant but the city as a whole.”

The above noted panel of community stakeholders will identify the organizations in the development community they wish to interview and receive presentations from by the end of August.

Northlands Vision 2020 is about creating brilliant experiences 365 days a year for Edmontonians, Northern Alberta and the world. It substantially changes the face of our 160-acre campus where people will live, work and play. Vision 2020 will make Northlands the home of large-scale, unforgettable experiences for many years to come.
