It’s the beginning of the end as tickets are now available for Racing’s Big Finale at Northlands Park Racetrack & Casino. The final season of thoroughbred racing will be kicking off on May 5 and will continue with 43 days of live racing all culminating with the biggest event in Western Canadian racing: the 89th and final Canadian Derby at Northlands Park.
This August 25 event is worth $150K and will be a thrilling afternoon where the past and present collide. It is a day of glamour and action filled with history and tradition.
Other exciting features for this once-in-a-lifetime season include:
- An opportunity to watch and wager on the Kentucky Derby on May 5 right at Northlands Park.
- An opening day giveaway for a trip for two to Mexico!
- Two additional days of Sunday racing on May 20 (Mother’s Day) and June 17 (Father’s Day)
- Wiener Dog races on Family Day, June 23.
